Kim Delaney was an American actress from America. She is most famous because of her part as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC drama series NYPD Blue. For this she received an Emmy Award. Her credits comprise All My Children Philly CSI: Miami & Army Wives. Delaney has a father who was an executive from the United Auto Workers who was also the mother of her children. Delaney has four older brothers. When she was a kid, Delaney dreamed of being a reporter for the court. Her modeling career began in high school and then gaining commercial opportunities when she relocated into New York. She starred in 1981 as a naive teen in All My Children. Delaney was a talented young actress from the 1980s has appeared in numerous TV shows and in dramas. Personally, her professional life hasn't been successful and happy. The talented actress was afflicted with alcoholism throughout her life and had two failed marriages. In 2005 she lost the custody of her son.
